Pro Contra of using calculator in the classroom perhaps is a minor problems in our society. The whole discussion generally ends with the question of whether using calculator in the classroom is wrong. Corcerning the latter, there have been two opposing sides of opinion.
In most countries, students use calculators for schoolwork. There was some initial resistance to the idea out of fear that basic arithmetic skills would suffer. There remains disagreement about the importance of the ability to perform calculations by hand or "in the head". Others have argued that using calculator can even cause core mathematical skills to atrophy. There are other concerns - for example, that student could believe the answer because that was the result given though the answer is wrong. Using calculator in the classroom is also wrong if it use during the test.
Meanwhile, some people who support of using calculator say that using calculator in the classroom is very beneficial and right. By using calculator, students can count the calculation in form of decimal which cannot be counted by using fingers. It make students easy and needn’t many time to count.
There is no final answer whether using calculator in the classroom is right or wrong. In fact, many students in the world still using calculator to calculation the number.
